Fix CUSIP | Calculate CUSIP Check Digit
A CUSIP is a 9-character alphanumeric code which identifies a North American financial security.
A CUSIP consists of three parts:
• A six-character issuer code (CUSIP-6)
• A two-character issue number
• A single check digit.
For example: 931142103 (Walmart)
On this page, you can either:
• enter a CUSIP without the check digit, or:
• enter a full CUSIP you would like to fix.
In both cases, a correct CUSIP will be calculated for you, if possible.
CUSIP International Numbering System (CINS) and Private Placement Number (PPN, used by the insurance industry) are supported.
